Tier Certification is a vendor-agnostic, third party certification process delivered by the Uptime Institute of Professional Services designed to rate and certify systems and operational sustainability for data centers around the world. The Uptime Institute Professional Services organization is the only group licensed to rate and certify data centers against the Uptime Institute’s Tier Classification System. Tier III designs allow for concurrent maintainability through redundant capacity components with multiple distribution paths enabling dual powered computer equipment to remain up without interruption.
FORTRUST was awarded Tier III Certification for Design Documents for the Denver data center. This certification verifies the concurrent maintainability of the FORTRUST modular design. FORTRUST also deploys modular technology in Tier III certified locations in Phoenix, Arizona and Edison, New Jersey through their Powered By IO Partnership.
