Giving Back To Our Community

At FORTRUST, we believe in giving back – giving back to our local communities and giving back to our employees. It’s part of being a socially responsible organization and helping make the world a better place.

We’re especially proud to support charitable foundations and programs that provide STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) education initiatives for children who are interested in technology.

FORTRUST also believes in supporting our veterans. Almost 40% of our team members are veterans. They bring unmatched skills, education, training experience and a disciplined mindset.

Corporate responsibility is more than financial support. It's investing our time and expertise to better the lives of others.

Organizations and charities we support through volunteer manpower and philanthropic initiatives:

Children are our future. That’s why FORTRUST is happy to support KidsTek and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) education initiatives for children who are interested in technology. Robert McClary, FORTRUST’s COO, chairs the Board of Directors for KidsTek. The goal is to increase the technology literacy of students at Colorado’s highest-needs schools through innovative after-school, project-based enrichment programs and in-school technical certificate programs.

This multi-week program teaches youth the importance of integrity and ethics and how both of those concepts affect them right now and in their futures.

FORTRUST hosts its annual Champions for Children Charity Golf Tournament each summer. Last year, the event raised more than $100K for KidsTek and the Ronald McDonald House of Denver.

For the past 36 years, Ronald McDonald House Charites of Denver has offered a loving home away from home to families needing to be near their seriously ill or injured children while they’re being treated at metropolitan area hospitals.

The Children’s Diabetes Foundation at Denver was established to support research in childhood diabetes and to provide the best possible clinical and educational programs for children with the disease.

The FORTRUST Veterans Group was created to support veterans and provide ongoing transitional support for veteran employees and their families. The group also strives to give back by focusing on ways to help other veterans in the Colorado community.
