Job Title:  Data Center Maintenance Specialist

Job Summary

The role of the Data Center Maintenance Specialist is to provide overall support for FORTRUST in providing custodial, minor maintenance, first level monitoring, operation and troubleshooting of equipment and systems, shipping and receiving, and inventory functions as well as other duties and responsibilities assigned by Operations Management.  They must do this in a manner consistent with FORTRUST’s overall objective to provide outstanding customer service to internal and external customers.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Responsibility for the over all cleanliness and up keep of the interior and exterior of the building including controlled areas where housekeeping standards will be extensive. The Data Center Maintenance Specialist will be responsible to assist with routine maintenance and a variety of Data Center, and grounds maintenance tasks, and additionally the operation of equipment to support these tasks.
  • Responsible for the inventory of stored equipment for various Fortrust departments, and customers. The position will be responsible for ordering and maintaining proper inventory amounts of cleaning supplies, maintenance items, and other consumables as directed by management.

Job title:  Security Specialist
Primary work location: FORTRUST Data Center, 4300 Brighton Blvd., Denver, CO
Department:  Security
Reports to:  Chief Data Center Officer (CDCO) and/or Security Manager
Number of direct reports:  0

Job Summary

This position will report to the CDCO or the cognizant manager of security.

The Security Specialist will be responsible for the verification of identification, authorization, and access credentials through badge inspection and monitoring security access systems at designated security stations, guard houses, and checkpoints. Will be required to monitor, notify, and take specific action as per procedures and guidelines while documenting pertinent events.

The Security Specialist is responsible for monitoring the property/facility for: security, access control, facility safety and cleanliness, personnel, property and asset protection.

Including:

  • Conducting rounds, tours and inspections and verifications of secure doors, entrances & exits, dock doors, exterior grounds, and gates.
  • Monitoring of security systems and CCTV.
  • Keeping records both written and electronic; writing reports when required.
  • Customer service, assistance, and support.
  • Receiving of incoming deliveries, logging, and inventory of items.
  • Controlling and inspecting incoming and outgoing property.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Responsibility for the inventory of stored equipment for various FORTRUST departments, and customers.
  • Providing support for the Operations department in customer service; internal and external, shipping and receiving, general custodial and inventory functions as well as other duties and responsibilities assigned by the department.

Other Job Requirements

  • Working in a 7×24 environment, on-call and responding outside of normal business hours may be required
  • Occasionally lift or move up to 75lbs. This may include handling various types of equipment, to include heavy single boxed items up to 75 lbs.
  • Wearing uniform and gear as provided
  • Must be able to obtain an unarmed merchant guard license
  • Must have basic Microsoft Office skills, i.e. PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook

  • Security, military, or law enforcement background a plus
  • Knowledge of OSHA requirements

Job Title: Account Manager (AM)

Department: Sales
Reports to: SVP Sales and Marketing

Job Summary

This position will report to the Vice President. Responsibilities include; selling and providing Data Center service and technical solutions to prospective customers and to meet/exceed sales and revenue targets. This will include prospecting companies; developing proposals, providing presentations, closing Service Agreements, and ongoing customer account management and support.

The AM will be responsible for generating new business and achieving revenue targets and quota. These duties include, but are not limited to; uncovering new market opportunities; developing business with businesses and Data Center Services customers. Develop strong relations with customers at decision-making levels.

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Must be willing to learn and adapt as necessary to accommodate changes in industry and company directions.

Education/Experience:

  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work-related experience is required.

Computer Skills:

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Contact Management systems, database software, inventory software, spreadsheet software, and document creation software.
