AppSafe™ is a fully managed disaster recovery service providing you with a safe, affordable, and flexible solution to ensure the rapid recovery of your business-critical applications in the event of an outage or disaster. Much more than backup and restore methodologies, AppSafe allows you to leverage virtualization to implement a cost-effective, fully supported disaster recovery strategy with no requirement for capital expenditure. Your applications and data are replicated, to our virtual environment, providing the flexibility to meet your critical application delivery requirements.
Eliminating new hardware investment and compatibility issues for application recovery within our data center, AppSafe maintains an image of your entire server – including OS, Applications, and Databases – in a virtual environment. When an outage occurs, your data will be activated in the virtualized environment and users will be re-routed to continue work as usual – with minimal downtime.
COST-EFFECTIVE, FLEXIBLE SOLUTIONS
AppSafe delivers the appropriate processing platform for your business-critical applications allowing you to size out the needed hardware bundle for delivery of your applications during a disaster. These virtual hardware bundles include: processing power, memory, storage, and internet bandwidth. Three standard bundles, starting at $250 per month, are available to best suit your application delivery requirements.
In addition, we will provide data replication based on the RPO/RTO (Recovery Point Objective/Recovery Time Objective) service you have selected. AppSafe has three standard RPO/RTO solutions – 4 hour, 8 hour, and 24 hour – starting at $500 one-time cost. Implementing a regular occurring failover test to increase reliability and ensure failover support is also recommended.
In the event of a disaster, you can easily and quickly switch over to the virtual environment, and when your production environment is available again, we’ll assist you with the transfer of the data and application back to your primary production site. Recovering a single server or entire infrastructure has never been simpler.
